A WINNING START TO THE SEASON

Congratulations to our Second XI who opened the season with a fine nine-wicket win at home against Blunham CC.

A magnificant bowling display from Oliver Hall (8-2-9-3) and Max Ripon (4-0-13-3) saw Orton bowl out the visitors for 73. A fine batting display from opener Hamish Meichan (53 not out) saw us cruise home to a nine-wicket victory.

This weekend (21st and 22nd April) sees the Second XI back in action, with two home games against Werrington CC and Brampton CC.....lets hope we can keep up the winning streak.....depending on what the weather has in store for us.
